Platinum Capital Group Expands its Reach to Construction Lending
Platinum Capital Group recently acquired Stratford Financial Services in an effort to expand their product offerings and incorporate single-family, owner occupied construction lending to its wide range of lending services.
At the helm of their 2006 joint venture is Kevin Daum, CEO of Stratford Financial Services. Daum has been in the real estate industry for more than 20 years and is a frequent contributor to numerous business publications on the subjects of Real Estate and Small Business Leadership. He speaks regularly on both subjects. Daum is considered the national expert on financing custom homes and is the co-author of the successful Building Your Own Home for Dummies as well as the On The Money Editor for Log Homes Illustrated.
Platinum Capital Group has already made great strides in construction origination and has just rolled out a comprehensive construction referral program within their organization. Their long term goal is to build this division on a national level.
Stratford Financial Services began in 1995 and has focused on consumer construction and dream home financing. “While most lenders will turn away or radically alter over 50% of the construction loans, Stratford has maintained a 100% approval rating with its lenders, as well as a 90% funding rate—practically unheard of in the construction lending industry,” said Daum.
